Frequently Asked Questions

Everything people commonly ask about how BSUREE works, trust and compensation.

General

BSUREE is an independent insurance education and decision-support platform. We help you understand insurance options in plain language and prepare to make an informed decision — we're not an insurer, and we don't pressure you toward any specific product.

Our focus is Kerala and Tamil Nadu families, including NRI/Gulf households connected to the region, but we're happy to have an initial conversation with anyone in India.

No — there's no login or dashboard. Everything happens through a WhatsApp conversation and, where relevant, emailed documents.

Advice & Recommendations

An agent typically earns commission from the specific insurer or product they sell you, which can shape what they recommend. BSUREE's income is designed to come primarily from advisory work rather than being tied to one insurer, and we disclose any referral relationship clearly.

No — our focus is on suitability (the right cover for your situation) rather than simply the lowest price, since the cheapest policy is often the wrong choice once you account for exclusions and claim experience.

Yes — if your existing cover is genuinely adequate, we'll tell you that directly rather than manufacturing a reason to recommend a purchase.

Compensation & Trust

Primarily through consultation and advisory fees paid by clients, and in some cases referral fees from licensed insurers or brokers when regulations allow it — always disclosed, and never changing the price you pay. See our full disclosure page for details.

Yes — details you share with us (income, health information, family situation) are used only to prepare your recommendation and are not sold to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Claims & Working With Us

Yes — we can help you understand why it was likely rejected and what your options are, including escalation through the insurer's grievance process or the Insurance Ombudsman. See our Claims Help Centre.

A first conversation about your claims situation is free. More involved, ongoing claims support may involve a consultation fee, which we'll always quote upfront.

Tell us — we'd rather hear directly and try to make it right than have you quietly walk away unsatisfied. Reach out via WhatsApp or email.
